I visited the Inca Trails at Machu Picchu, saw the natural wonder of Iguazu Falls in Argentina and Brazil, swam with turtles and sealions on the Galapagos Islands, visited the most remote place on Earth, Easter Island and it’s monumental statue heads and trekked across rain forests in Costa Rica! I can't count how many creepy crawlies, tarantulas and animals I encountered!A recent holiday was to Kenya, visiting the Masai Mara to see the migration and further north to the Ol Pejeta and Lewa Conservancies. I was humbled to meet the last two Northern White Rhinos on the planet. Safaris are my favourite type of holiday. There is nothing like the feeling of discovering a pride of lions or a dazzle of zebras whilst out on a drive.I can’t wait to help you plan an amazing holiday and an unforgettable trip. I was hosting my BBC Radio show and came across a message in my junk email. I was about to delete it, but my gut whispered – ‘Open it’.So, I did. It was a job advert for a TV Host in Dubai. Two weeks later I was presenting the first ever English travel and lifestyle show on Dubai One TV called Out & About.Let’s just say I was getting paid to be a tourist in the UAE. My job involved visiting and staying at hundreds of hotels across the UAE, trying all the fun and extreme activities in Dubai, and interviewing every A list celebrity that came into town. The location of UAE where I live makes it so easy to get around the globe, and so far I'm happy to have reached 77 countries with at least 2 more in my plan for the next few months. From there I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time travelling both for leisure and business working in a customer care environment prior to moving into the travel industry. Moreover, every summer, my parents would take us on a short holiday across India to familiarize my sister and me with the vast Indian culture & heritage: the Ajanta & Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, the Qutub Minar in New Delhi, the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, the Konark Sun Temple in Odissa and the world-famous Taj Mahal in Agra to name a few. Understandably, I took up Hospitality as my career choice. Dubai has been my second home since 2003, and I’ve had the opportunity to have worked in one of the top resorts here, followed by a decade with one of the most prestigious Hotel Representation Companies in the world. As such, the wanderlust never diminished and only has grown stronger with time. Our little family of 03 has been extremely fortunate to have travelled to over 47 destinations across Europe and the Americas (US & Canada). The bucket list is still long.
